Complete Monitor Test
Test your monitor in a clear sequence: browser timing, pixels, uniformity, and moving patterns. Results stay in this browser session; visual checks rely on what you notice.
Nine steps, at your pace
Allow about 4–7 minutes, depending on how long you inspect each pattern.
Use the browser on the actual display you are evaluating; a touch device can also be connected to a monitor.
Timing steps need a focused, visible window. Visual steps need your observation; you can skip any step, including the optional OLED check. Fullscreen is requested only when you choose it.
Session memory only · No account · Refresh starts cleanly · No results sent to a server
Enable JavaScript for the guided workflow. The included individual test pages below still provide instructions and limitations.
What the workflow includes
- Display information
- Refresh rate
- Browser frame timing
- Dead and stuck pixels
- LCD light patches
- Gray uniformity
- OLED inspection (optional) — skip if not relevant
- Ghosting and overshoot
- Moving-image clarity
Mouse and keyboard checks are separate device tests and are suggested after the monitor summary. Prefer one individual tool when you only need to repeat a specific observation.
Know the limits
Informational browser measurements and your observations only. No automatic defect diagnosis, calibration, hardware certification, health score, or warranty decision. Timing confidence describes browser consistency, not hardware accuracy.
Browser timing can differ from configured display Hz. CSS dimensions and device pixel ratio do not establish native panel resolution. Color and motion patterns cannot measure a physical defect or pixel response time. Use normal brightness and keep static color inspections brief.
Fullscreen may fall back to the browser viewport. The workflow still works on mobile/tablet, but inspect the actual display you intend to evaluate. Changing displays or viewing conditions calls for a new session.
