Information processed in your browser

The tools read browser-reported screen and viewport dimensions, pixel ratio, color depth, orientation, animation-frame timestamps, and mouse or keyboard events within their test areas. Visual checks use observations you select yourself. These values are used to display the test or summarize the current session.

There is no account system, database, diagnostic upload, server-side result storage, or result-sharing backend. Test state stays in browser memory and is cleared when the relevant session is reset or the page is left. Refreshing or exiting the Complete Monitor Test clears its session.

Local text exports

Download text summary creates a text file locally, only when you choose that action. Its contents are not uploaded. A temporary browser object URL is released after the download. Your browser or operating system may keep the downloaded file until you delete it; you control any later sharing.

Website requests and hosting logs

Vercel is the selected production hosting provider for ScreenTest.tools. Delivering a website requires request information such as your IP address, requested URL, request time, and browser headers to reach hosting infrastructure. Infrastructure may retain access or error logs for delivery, security, and troubleshooting. This is distinct from diagnostic results, which the application does not submit.

Vercel's Privacy Notice describes service-generated information including IP addresses and log files, and approximate city and country derived from IP addresses. This infrastructure processing is separate from diagnostic values and observations, which the application does not upload.

The application does not create visitor profiles or custom diagnostic logs. This project's log retention, logging destinations, processing locations, and applicable transfer arrangements have not yet been confirmed. No fixed retention period, hosting location, or transfer mechanism is claimed here.

Cookies, storage, and browser caching

The application sets no cookies and uses no localStorage, sessionStorage, IndexedDB, or service worker. The guided workflow uses React memory only. Ordinary browser caching and download history are controlled by your browser and do not provide result persistence for this site.

Analytics and advertising

No analytics provider, analytics SDK, tracking pixel, advertising, or affiliate system is enabled. Tool use, refresh estimates, suspected issues, selected observations, and exported summaries are not sent to an analytics service. No nonessential tracking consent banner is needed for the current application behavior.

Third-party services and links

The pages use locally served code and images and system fonts. There are no external embeds or remotely loaded fonts. Guides link to external documentation; following a link opens a service with its own privacy practices. Those services are not contacted by an embedded widget on this site.

Purpose, legal basis, and retention

Local diagnostic values are processed to provide the test you choose and are not retained by the operator. Technical website requests are processed to deliver and protect the service. The applicable legal basis and infrastructure retention must be confirmed for the operator and hosting arrangements; this policy does not assert an unverified jurisdiction or blanket consent.

No diagnostic history can be recovered from the site after a session is cleared. Downloaded files remain under your control. Hosting logs, if retained, follow the provider and operator's configured retention rather than the lifetime of a diagnostic session.

Your rights and contact

Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, erase, restrict, or object to processing of personal data, and to complain to the relevant data protection authority. Requests about privacy should be addressed to the owner/operator of ScreenTest.tools. Avoid sending a diagnostic summary or other personal information unless necessary for your request.

Policy updates

This policy describes the current application. Any analytics, advertising, storage, or other new processing requires an updated notice and any applicable consent before it is enabled. Changes will be published on this page with an updated date.
